The Sheriff is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of their respective county. He is a Constitutional Office charged with preserving the public peace within his county. A Sheriff is responsible for the entire spectrum of enforcing the laws. The Sheriff is the Executive Officer of the Courts, giving them the authority over executing warrants, writs, and other civil and criminal process deemed lawful by a court with jurisdiction.
My goal as your Sheriff is to provide you a professional agency with well trained and equipped deputies. This is not a choice but a requirement when trying to stay ahead of criminals and protecting our citizens. Our deputies are to be community oriented and look out for the best of the county not any on person or entity.
